Get ready for the time of your life! Thank you for visiting the website for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Idaho/Montana Team In Training® program! The Team that's Saving Lives One Mile at a Time.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training® (TNT) campaign is the world's largest endurance sports training program, allowing each athlete to run, walk or ride in honor of a specific patient with a blood cancer. You don't have to be young, a great athlete or even in terrific shape to join the team. An experienced coach will guide you through a comprehensive four- to five-month training program tailored to suit your abilities. In addition, you will enjoy the support and camaraderie of training with a team.

Patient Honoree Program
Your honoree is someone from your local area whose life has been affected by a blood cancer. By honoring a member of your own community and hearing his or her story first-hand, you will be able to understand the extreme value of your efforts.

Training
The Idaho/Montana Chapter currently has two teams training each season. Our Ada County team typically trains from Municipal Park in Boise and the Canyon County team trains from the Nampa Rec Center in Nampa. Each team will have a coach who will train you to successfully complete a marathon, half-marathon, 100-mile century bike ride, or triathlon. Teams train together on a regular basis, usually on the weekends. In addition, the teams meet once a month to discuss training and fundraising issues. Guest speakers are brought in to discuss proper attire and footwear, nutrition, injury prevention and other aspects of training.

Fundraising
Each team member is asked to raise a set amount of money to participate in their preferred event. Fundraising minimums vary for each event and are based on the costs associated with that event. Funds raised will support The Society's programs in research, patient aid and education. More than 75 cents of every dollar raised goes directly to the mission. The Society's staff will provide you with the materials and information you will need to meet and exceed your fundraising minimum.

Once you have met your training and fundraising goals, transportation to and from your chosen event, hotel accommodations and entry fees are on us!

Join us at an Information Meeting and learn how you can join the team that's saving lives one mile at a time.
