Michelle Henaman

This is just my 2nd year with Team In Training, having supported other TNT participants through donation and sponsorship in previous years.  Last year, I decided to take the leap from "couch-to-tri" and participated in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon with TNT.  Little did I know I would have the time of my life!  I plan to participate with TNT in the America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride this summer and the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco this fall.  I support TNT and LLS because of the number of outstanding and brave people I have known affected with blood cancers, and I am determined we will find a cure!

Kevin McCarty

This is my 3rd year participating in Team In Training.  I have done the Nation's Triathlon and the Nautica Malibu Triathlon, and will be doing the America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride in June.  I participate because I know I can make a difference.  Every dollar that is raised is another step closer to finding a cure and a chance for someone to live a longer life.  Bringing awareness to as many people as possible makes me smile!  If I can get just one more person to join the cause, it's one more person who may be saved from blood cancer because of our fundraising efforts.

Kris Harrison

I have been involved with Team In Training for 4 years.  Past TNT events include: the 2008 Hy-Vee Triathlon, the 2009 El Tour de Tucson Century Ride, the 2009 Rock 'N' Roll San Diego Half Marathon, the 2011 Capital of Texas Triathlon and the 2011 Moab Century Ride.  I am planning to do a 2013 marathon with my daughter to receive my double "triple crown" award from Team In Training.  I first signed up with TNT because I wanted to do a triathlon and knew that I couldn't do it on my own.  It was such a positive experience?I re-learned how to swim and most importantly didn't drown in the open water of the triathlon.  I met lots of great people with the same goals and fears as I had, and surprisingly, the fundraising was easier than I expected.  I was a little apprehensive singing up for my 2nd event, but it quickly turned into event #3, #4 and #5.  I look forward to sharing my TNT experience with my daughter next summer when she is old enough to participate.  My goal is to keep up with her!  I've made friendships that will last a lifetime and accomplished goals that I never knew I had!
