The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Georgia Chapter kicked off the state's Team In Training (TNT) program in 1992.  Fifteen runners ran the New York City Marathon that year and raised $32,000.  Since then, our chapter has trained thousands of athletes at numerous endurance sports events nationwide and outside our country's borders.  In 2010, TNT Georgia raised over $2.1 million towards the fight against blood cancer. 

Our chapter's TNT program offers sports training programs for marathons, half-marathons, triathlons, century bike rides, hiking and adventure racing.  We train year round with new seasons kicking off in January, May, July and October of each year.  Teams are formed all over the state including:

Atlanta: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter teams train for all offered sports
North Fulton/Forsyth: Spring, Fall and Winter teams train for marathons and half-marathons
Kennesaw/Cobb: Spring and Winter teams train for marathons and half-marathons
Gwinnett: Spring and Winter team trains for marathons and half-marathons
Augusta: Summer team trains for marathons, half-marathons and triathlons and Fall team trains for triathlons.
Savannah: Summer teams train for marathons, half-marathons and triathlons and Fall team trains for marathons and half-marathons.
