Team In Training offers runners and walkers the opportunity to take on the challenge of a marathon or half-marathon and make a difference in the lives of nearly one million Americans living with blood cancers.

Along with a customized-training program and expert coaching, participants will train with a local group of like-minded individuals for motivation and inspiration.

Rock 'n' Roll San Diego Marathon & 1/2 Marathon to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society  June 23, 2012
Team In Training is proud to have participated in the Rock 'n' Roll San Diego Marathon & 1/2 Marathon since the inaugural event in 1998! You can ennjoy the live music, entertainment and beautiful course in San Diego with Team In Training! You'll experience a lovely course through beautiful San Diego, Balboa Park, Gaslamp Quarter, Fashion Valley, PETCO Park (home of the San Diego Padres), along picturesque Mission Bay and concluding at SeaWorld. Meet your coaches, teammates and honored patients who will inspire you every step of the way.

Hotel accommodations: TNT will cover the cost of a 3 night hotel stay in downtown San Diego. TNT covers the cost of ½ the room rate for each TNT participant. TNT participants have the option of rooming with another TNT participant, or reserving the other half of the room for their guests. Hotel details and arrangements will be provided upon recommitment.

Mayor's Alaska Marathon and Half-Marathon  June 23, 2012
June in Alaska is about as beautiful as it gets and a great time to run or walk in your own backyard for a cause. The marathon course begins at Bartlett High School and travels through the eastern foothills and across Anchorage to the finish line at West High School. Scenic city bike trails as well as a combination of gravel, rocky and paved roadways make up this gently rolling, mostly downhill course. From the stunning mountain views to wooded trails to the feeling of coming home as you round Westchester Lagoon, both the full and half courses are an unforgettable tour of Anchorage and one of the most beautiful courses you could hope to complete anywhere.
