Triathlons
Team In Training's triathlon program offers the opportunity to take on the challenge of swimming, cycling, and running an Olympic-distance triathlon and make a difference in the lives of nearly one million Americans living with blood cancers.
Along with a customized-training program and expert coaching, participants will train with a local group of like-minded individuals for motivation and inspiration.

Olympic Distance
September 11, 2011 - Washington, DC
Triathlon Training
The training consists of a 16 to 18-week program for beginner, intermediate and advanced triathletes. You will train for an Olympic Distance triathlon. You will need to purchase a good pair of running shoes. Official TNT wet suites for races with expected water temperatures below 78 degrees will be provided to participants. Road or triathlon bikes are the preferred type in triathlons due to their lightweight, aerodynamic design. Mountain and hybrid bikes are usually too heavy to achieve maximum performance. Before purchasing equipment, we would advise you to contact the TNT Coaches.
Challenge yourself, save lives and have fun!
