The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training® is the world's largest endurance sports training program. The program provides training to run or walk marathons and half marathons or participate in hiking adventures, triathlons and century (100-mile) bike rides. Since 1988, more than 420,000 volunteer participants have helped raise more than $1 billion dollars.
By helping to raise funds for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma research and patient services, you'll receive:
- Personalized fitness training by certified coaches for a period of four to five months, sport specific training clinics and support, and a personalized training calendar.
- Fundraising support, including your own personal web page for online fundraising.
- A supportive group of teammates and a connection to the cause through our honored hero program.
- Lodging and airfare for Team In Training participants for their event.

Grand Canyon Hike- Grand Canyon, Arizona (Monday, May 17, 2010)- The Grand Canyon is more than a great chasm carved over millennia through the rocks of the Colorado Plateau. It is more than an awe-inspiring view. It is more than a pleasuring ground for those who explore the roads, seek great views or venture into the canyon. Starting at 7,000 feet above sea level, the Grand Canyon offers hikes for everyone- from rolling rim hikes to challenging hikes into the canyon, there truly is something for everyone at the Grand Canyon.
Rock 'n' Roll Marathon and 1/2 To Benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society- San Diego, California (Sunday, June 6, 2010)- Twenty-six stages host live music along the course while 2,000 cheerleaders encourage runners to the finish line! In addition, the event features a post race concert highlighting a major headliner act. Perks include the flat, scenic course with perfect running weather- 60's at the start, 70's at the finish.
America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride- Lake Tahoe, Nevada (Sunday, June 6, 2010)- It's one of the most scenic and awe-inspiring rides you will ever experience. Spectacular scenery, clean mountain air, great food and full support by experienced ride organizers make this ride a ?must do? for any avid recreational bicyclist.
Fat Rabbit Triathlon- Columbus, Ohio (Sunday, June 27, 2010)- This Fat Rabbit Racing event takes place at Alum Creek State Park. Alum Creek?s large reservoir and gently rolling span of fields and woodlands provides a hub of recreational activity just minutes from Ohio's capital city. Alum Creek State Park contains Ohio's largest inland beach and reservoir is the backdrop for the Fat Rabbit Racing International Triathlon & Duathlon. (Sprint and Olympic distance offered)

Nation's Triathlon to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphona Society-Washington, D.C (Sunday, September 12,2010) The Nation's triathlon, the only triathlon in the country dedicated to building awareness and raisinig money for the treatment of leukemia and blood-related cancers. The Nation's triathlon is a memorable experience. From it's one-of-a-kind course route in and around the monuments of Washington DC to its extra large transition area, fast course design and athlete friendly attitude, this course is great for new triathletes and seasoned veterans alike.
The Nike Women's Marathon, A Race To Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society- San Francisco, CA (Sunday, October 17, 2010) We invite you to join 20,000 women as we race together through the streets of San Francisco to raise funds and awareness for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Breathtaking course views begin in Union Square and end along the Pacific Ocean.
The Columbus Marathon- Columbus, OH (Sunday, October 17, 2010) A tour through the best parts of Columbus including Downtown, Bexley, German Village, Short North, Ohio State, Upper Arlington, Grandview and the Arena District. More than 70 bands and radio stations are feautred along the course to ensure that athletes have the support they need throughout the entire race.
