Triathlons

Team In Training's triathlon program offers the opportunity to take on the challenge of swimming, cycling, and running an Olympic-distance triathlon and make a difference in the lives of an estimated 912,938 Americans living with blood cancers.

Along with a customized-training program and expert coaching, participants will train with a local group of like-minded individuals for motivation and inspiration.

Team In Training (TNT) is currently recruiting for the following triathlons. Please note that participation in a TNT event is subject to the local availability of group training and transportation arrangements. Please consult the TNT staff at your local chapter for additional details.

The Nation's Triathlon^TM to Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - September 13, 2009: Olympic Distance Triathlon

Competitors in the 2009 Nation's Triathlon will race on a wide mostly flat, fast course completely closed to traffic by the officers of the DC Metropolitan Police and the United States Park Police. The course combines long stretches perfect for use of aerobars with turns and twists on the Avenues and Boulevards of downtown Washington DC. On our route you will race right by the White House, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, National Mall, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Navy Memorial, Kennedy Center, Korean War Memorial, FBI Building, National Archives, National Treasury, Holocaust Memorial and more! Join TNT for this thrilling experience!
