Marathons & Half Marathons

Team In Training offers runners and walkers the opportunity to take on the challenge of a marathon or half-marathon and make a difference in the lives of an estimated 912,938 Americans living with or in remission blood cancers.

Along with a customized-training program and expert coaching, participants will train with a local group of like-minded individuals for motivation and inspiration.

Team In Training (TNT) is currently recruiting walkers and runners for the following events. Please note that participation in a TNT event is subject to the local availability of group training and transportation arrangements. Please consult the TNT staff at your local chapter for additional details.

Inaugural Women's Running Magazine Women's Half Marathon to Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - November 22, 2009: Walk or Run, Half Marathon

The Women?s Half Marathon & 5K will take place in beautiful downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. The race start and finish takes place in front of the famous waterfront Mahaffey Theater. Snaking along the scenic waterfront, through quaint communities, past historic buildings and museums, this fast, flat course provides runners with lasting memories as well as the opportunity to PR.

Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend - January 9-10, 2009: Walk or Run, Half or Full Marathon

This family-friendly marathon features a flat, fast course that winds through Epcot Center, the Magic Kingdom and Disney MGM Studios. Join TNT for this entertaining event filled with the magic of Disney! Both the Half and Full marathons sell out every year, but you can still sign up and get in with TNT. (NOTE: Team In Training does not register participants for Goofy?s Race and a Half Challenge.)

Disney Princess Half Marathon - March 7, 2010: Walk or Run, Half Marathon

o Disney?s Princess Half Marathon brings women of all ages together to participate in a magical event designed just for them. Join your fellow princesses in a royal quest that will take you through 13.1 miles of the Walt Disney World Resort.
