Our coaches provide workout schedules that break down the workout for each day. Mileage begins at 10-20 miles, depending on your current fitness level, builds to 80-90 miles, and finally tapers prior to your event. Longer workouts are scheduled on the weekends. This is a sample of what to expect on the training schedule:
- Team endurance training every *Saturday (mileage begins at 10-20 miles, depending on your fitness level, and builds to 80-90 miles before tapering prior to event weekend)
- "Buddy Rides" on a weekday evening led by TNT mentors
- Interval training
- One to two rest days
The comprehensive cycle program also includes clinics on proper bike selection and fit, clothing, maintenance, injury prevention and safety as well as nutrition.
