Meet Our Coaches

The Western Canada's Chapter's Team In Training® (TNT) coaches are experienced and dedicated.  As you train for your endurance event, they will guide and encourage you, helping you to achieve or exceed your goals.  Read on to learn more about the coaches.

Rick Filipovic, Vancouver Triathlon & Cycle Coach

"My experience with TNT as been extraordinary and has literally changed my life!  I have met many incredible people through this program that have since become very good friends.  Personally, I've raised over $10,000 for blood cancer research and look forward to seeing each of you meet your fundraising goals and crossing the finish line at the Honolulu Triathlon!"

Ray Comeau, Vancouver Run Coach

"You will soon learn that Team In Training is more than just a fundraising program.  Hang on team - you are going to have a wonderful and exciting journey while training for your ultimate destination.

My name is Ray and I am pumped about being a TNT Run Coach!"

Steph Aeichele, Fraser Valley Walk Coach

I joined TNT in May 2006 and I walked the Nike Women's Half Marathon.  I then became a mentor and trained with the Vancouver Walk Team to walk the half marathon at the Vancouver International Marathon May 6, 2007 and then again at the Maui Half Marathon on September 16, 2007.  I've been greatly moved by the power of this organization and have decided to devote more of my time to the cause and now continue my involvement as your Walk Coach here in the Fraser Valley.

Angela James, Vancouver Run Coach

" I became involved with Team In Training® in May 2003 as a participant.  The rest is history!  I enjoyed being a member of the team so much in fact that I immediately signed up to coach for the next season.  I will work hard to help you meet your training goals and I will be a very enthusiastic supporter. Together we will continue to make strides in the ultimate race by raising funds for the cause."

Lisa Reichelt, Vancouver Walk Coach

You are about to embark on an amazing, transformative experience and I am passionate about helping you to succeed on all levels.  I'd never thought of walking a marathon until last year when I was inspired by my good friend who had just completed treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She was going to train for the Vancouver Marathon to help raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and it compelled me to get involved.

Bee-Jay Moyer, Vancouver Walk Coach

It was after completing the Vancouver Marathon that I noticed all those purple shirts.  After returning home I decided to find out more about this group.  I became a TNT participant and shortly after, a Coach.  Knowing many people that had battled with Leukemia and Lymphoma, I felt that it was my chance to help find a cure for these diseases.

Pat Palmiere, Fraser Valley Run Coach

I started running back in the fall of 2003, and next thing you know I'm addicted. I've seen what people can do if they put their mind to it. So lets put our minds and bodies to it and make that difference; lets achieve our goals and TNT's goals. The one thing I have found with different events and groups I have run with is, the bond and friendships that are created by what we now have in common could last  with you forever.

Misty Krieger, Fraser Valley Run Coach

"I have been a recreational runner for the last 10 years. My first event with TNT was the Honolulu Marathon in December 2006. I had gone to an information meeting that a friend was volunteering for and was hooked. My experience training with TNT for my first marathon was amazing. I made so many friends along the way and I can?t even begin to describe the weekend in Hawaii and being surround by hundreds of other TNT runners. It was truly heart warming.  It?s so fulfilling for me to watch people succeed and conquer their fears. I?m so honored to be a part of that!
