Isaac Franklin of Mobile, Alabama is one of our Honored Teammates for our
Summer Season. He is six years old and enjoys playing video games, spending
time with his family, and playing on the computer. Isaac was diagnosed with
Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) on April 10, 2006 at age 5. He began treatment
and is currently in remission. He continues to receive maintenance chemotherapy
treatment at the local Children's and Women's Hospital. His mom, Deanna said,
"Isaac is a great child. He has a very strong spirit. Since he has been
diagnosed he has never complained a single day." We run in honor of Isaac and
all of those who have been diagnosed with a blood cancer.
